Web Content Manager

The Web Content Manager is responsible for creating, developing, and managing online content to support the law school’s brand awareness, marketing, and communication efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, although collaborating with the Director of IT, this position will ensure consistent messaging across all online channels, with a consistent tone and format (to brand standards), conduct ongoing audits of online channels, analyze proposed updates to determine the optimal information architecture, create and maintain annual editorial calendars, ensure high user engagement and accessibility through the use of analytics, user experience principles, and search engine optimization, provide creative input and design, and build and maintain microsites to meet research and administrative needs. In order to create content, this position will work directly with stakeholders at the law school, who include academic faculty, administrative faculty, classified staff and students.

  • Ability to think and plan strategically
  • Exceptional team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Project management proficiency: equal ability to work independently and manage, prioritize, and complete multiple projects/tasks in an efficient and timely manner under minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Content management system (CMS) proficiency
  • Experience with search engine optimization and digital marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with popular social media platforms and their integration with website content
