Of all the ways you tell your college’s story to the world, one of the easiest and most effective is through your campus calendar.
A calendar is more than just a list of events and dates and venues; it’s a backstage pass to life at your school. It’s a living document — a story about your campus that speaks to everyone. All the great things happening on your campus — official and unofficial, academic and athletic, inside the classroom and out — do more to convey what the student experience is really like than a pile of marketing materials.
So why is your calendar so boring?
(For lots of reasons, probably. But it doesn’t have to be.) In my session, I’ll describe some of the most common roadblocks to great calendars, and provide solutions and ideas that can benefit anyone with calendar problems, whether you use our product or not. And I’ll introduce you to LiveWhale Calendar, which helps higher ed communities around the world harness the power of calendaring to tell their stories to a wide range of internal and external audiences.
