How do you successfully manage large web properties with a lot of stakeholders? How do you ensure current, accurate information in the authoritative, conversational generative AI search era where archives and outdated info can hurt search result authority and damage user trust even more than in the before-times? The landscape changes daily, but we can take you through how the digital experience leads for two of the biggest colleges at Cornell tackle the day-to-day challenges of managing hundreds of faculty and staff content stewards, thousands of pages and more audiences than can actually be well-served by teams our size. We’ll use specific examples from CALS (Drupal) and the College of Business (WordPress) covering how we handle (or are planning to handle) governance issues, how we bring our contributors and stakeholders along for the ride, and how we report useful information up to leadership.
