Botched chat: A comedic tale of AI misadventures

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and as we all pivoted to remote learning and work, our school began exploring innovative ways to support and engage our students remotely. Enter chatbots. We formed a project structure, identified key stakeholders, and found a technology partner, leveraging and deploying their chatbot technology on our public-facing websites.

However, after just a few months, we ran into several challenges.

While we often learn about success stories, this is a (comedic) tale about a project that didn’t go well.

Attendees will learn project management tips and strategies to help wrangle large projects and stakeholder groups, especially when senior leaders are involved.
