When the decentralized University of Rochester recently the Web Governance Council to work toward a more unified web experience across the University’s schools and businesses, the council members strongly agreed that accessibility was the first significant priority we should address.Learn how Rochester worked to inform stakeholders and daily users of accessibility practices, report on the current web environment and propose policy for a more inclusive future.

Learning outcomes

After the presentation, audience members could chose to use Rochester’s case study as an outline or path forward for creating institutional awareness, accessibility reporting and policy proposals.
