Description

It’s important to consider accessibility early and throughout the design and development process for seamless integration into web projects. During our session, the MNIT@Education team will share how accessibility was incorporated in a project, from beginning to end. Find out how they worked with a vendor to make sure they were applying best practice on testing for accessibility and some challenges we encountered.

Learning objectives

  • How to overcome the challenges of working with an external vendor in making an application accessible
  • Know how to provide the support and direction to draw a solid line in the sand and leveraging project management best practices to ensure that accessibility is at the forefront of determining readiness
  • Understand technical requirements, testing, and implementation support by incorporating accessibility throughout the project process
